Following the Whoop band

I have now for several years been trying to sort out when i would be tired and when i would have energy. This has been an ongoing battle that I thought i was losing. Turns out i may have found a friend in this battle. A secret weapon maybe even.

The Band is set up more for healthy people and not really designed for the typical heart transplant patient I don’t believe. However after my last hunting trip i have noticed a few trends that were not as apparent as they are now.

for instance when i was out hunting although i was active by the third week my HRV had gone down and my resting heart rate had gone up. What does this mean to me and my ability to function at a higher rate of excursion.

Well last week I returned to jujitsu after three weeks off and did not have a good week in regards to performance both on and off the mat. I noticed a significant drop in both these categories directly corresponded with the fact that I was tired and tired myself easily.

This weekend I decided to get o the rowing and the elliptical trainer to see if i could improve my performance. Well I did improve and it was drastic really. I had a much better sleep and a lot more energy.

I believe and i have ever since my transplant that finding that happy medium would be both difficult yet rewarding. I’ve always found it to be very frustrating not knowing what tomorrow would bring in regards to energy and ability to function. Waking up the next morning after a seemingly relaxed night to either have a migraine or be very lethargic.

With this band and I believe the apple watch we can as transplant tract what our body is doing and why it seems to be doing it. This gives us the ability to be able to get more control over our lives and remain both functional and healthy.

I will do a podcast on this shortly to further explain what I’m finding and how I think it can help.

The Art Of Trujitsu

Why after having a transplant would somebody want to try jujitsu? I hope to be able to explain this to you so maybe you to can enjoy the benefits of Trujitsu.

I am determined that jujitsu and particularly Trujitsu is a life changer. I will be at some point having Mr Matt Baker the designer and head professor of Trujitsu on the podcast. He is without mincing words a master of this art form and a true leader of people.

I would be out of line to not mention my Professor From Komodo Academy in Grande Prairie Stephan who has been teaching us this form of jujitsu. I have asked and am lucky enough to be having Stephan on a future episode of the podcast as well.

Of course without my donor none of this would be possible. I do not believe that I would be living as well as I do without Jujitsu.

I will notify everyone when these episodes are ready to go.

Jujitsu. Family and socialization i believe are essential to the well being of people. Please be aware of those around you and if it looks like someone needs help. Please ask them.
